Sustainability is a big part of our thinking

As one of the largest casing companies in the world we need to take the lead in finding sustainable solutions. We are already a circular economy that utilizes a material that would otherwise be thrown away and thereby leave nothing to waste.

We are on an exciting and important journey full of challenges - challenges we only solve jointly. We must challenge ourselves, our industry, and our markets. It will take time to transform our entire group, but we insist on becoming more sustainable and reducing our climate footprint by 42% in 2030. Every beginning starts with action. And we act now. We know where we want to go, but we don’t know all the answers yet. But we do know that it must be a journey we take together with our entire value chain. Collaboration is the only way in which we can succeed.

Sustainable actions? We are on it.

Even though we do not know all the answers yet, not a day goes by without we are working on concrete actions to create a more sustainable future for food. Currently, DAT-Schaub is working on several initiatives to create a more sustainable business.

We are building the bridge as we walk on it. Data is the foundation for us to establish our sustainability path. There is, therefore, heightened focus on implementing processes and standards which integrates sustainability into all business functions.
